Browser Seemlessly Integrates Social Networking Tools

I spent some time over the weekend playing with a new (or at least new to me) browser called Flock.  I first heard about Flock from Leo Laporte.  He explained that it was good for folks interested in working with photographs.  While I haven't examined that aspect of the browser, what I do like is the ability to easily integrate all of my social networking tools - including a blog editor.  I am writing this post in a window that pops up from within my browser.  A pretty slick feature, considering I have been having trouble getting my Scribefire extension in Firefox to work with my Blogger account.  So if you are on the market for a new browser, or are just studying your options, give Flock a look.

Free Internet TV Broadcasting

Band concerts, school plays, sporting events or distance education. The applications for streaming a webcast with full audio and video over the Internet are endless. A relatively new service called Stickam allows anyone with a webcam to broadcast free online. While I'm sure there are permission issues that need to be ironed out in the K-12 environment, there is quite a bit to be gained in the public relations arena. I envision a parent who can't get away from work watching their kid's class presentation at their desk. What do you think?

You can also paste a little bit of code into your webpage or class blog to broadcast live from a website. Like this:
